Audino in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Mega & How to Get
Audino is a dedicated bulky support Pokemon in Pokemon Champions. The base form's Regenerator makes it a tireless pivot, but the real draw is Mega Audino, which becomes Normal/Fairy with enormous 103/126/126 bulk and a movepool full of utility. This guide covers both forms, plus stats, type matchups, best moves, an SP spread, its role in Regulation M-A doubles, and how to get it.
Base Stats
Base Audino is a soft wall: 103 HP with even 86/86 defenses and a passive 60/60 offensive line. Mega Audino keeps the HP but jumps both defenses to 126, becoming one of the bulkiest support pieces in the format. Speed stays at a sluggish 50 in both forms, so Audino is a natural Trick Room candidate and is happiest moving last to react.
| Form | HP | Atk | Def | SpA | SpD | Spe | BST |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Audino | 103 | 60 | 86 | 60 | 86 | 50 | 445 |
| Mega Audino | 103 | 60 | 126 | 80 | 126 | 50 | 545 |
Type Matchups
Abilities
- Healer — has a chance each turn to cure an adjacent ally's status condition. Relevant in doubles and the ability Mega Audino keeps.
- Regenerator — restores a third of its HP on switch-out, turning base Audino into a self-healing pivot.
- Klutz — ignores the effect of its held item. Niche.
Best Moveset
Audino is built to support, not to attack. For Regulation M-A doubles:
Bulky cleric / support (Mega)
- Helping Hand — boost a partner's damage; a clean use of Audino's turn given its weak offenses.
- Heal Pulse or Yawn — ally healing or forcing a switch / sleep on a foe.
- Thunder Wave — spread-format speed control to cripple a fast threat.
- Protect — survive spread turns and stall Trick Room or Tailwind windows.
Dual screens / Trick Room flex
- Reflect + Light Screen — set screens off huge bulk to harden your whole side.
- Trick Room — its 50 Speed makes Audino a fine room setter for slow attackers.
- Calm Mind + Dazzling Gleam / Psychic — a rare offensive Mega set that leans on the Fairy STAB.
- Encore — lock an opponent into a non-threatening move.
Its movepool is unusually wide for a wall, also including Hyper Voice, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Icy Wind and Shadow Ball.
Suggested SP Spread
With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Mega Audino wants to lean into its defining trait — bulk. Pour points into HP and split the rest across its already-equal defenses, with a defensive Stat Alignment (raise a defense, lower the unused Attack or Speed). A Trick Room build keeps Speed minimal on purpose. For the rare Calm Mind set, invest in Special Attack instead. Tune the spread in the PikaChampions team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Mega Audino is a pure support anchor. With 103/126/126 bulk it shrugs off most neutral hits and uses its turns on Helping Hand, screens, Heal Pulse and Thunder Wave to keep a balance or Trick Room core ticking. Its Normal/Fairy typing is genuinely good defensively — only Poison and Steel threaten it, and it walls Dragon and Ghost outright — which lets it sit in front of a wide range of attackers. The downside is its near-total lack of offensive pressure: it does nothing to the opponent on its own, so it must be paired with real win conditions that capitalise on the support it provides. On Trick Room teams its 50 Speed is an asset rather than a liability.
Evolution Line
Audino does not evolve. It Mega Evolves while holding Audinite, becoming Normal/Fairy.
