Pokemon Champions Team Builder
PikaChampions is a free, browser-based Pokemon Champions team builder for the Regulation M-A VGC-style 6-pick-4 doubles format. Browse the full Pokemon Champions Pokedex of 263 Pokémon, analyse type matchups, plan SP training spreads, pick movesets from the complete Champions learnset, and share builds with community team codes — all in one tool, no login required.
How to Build a Pokemon Champions Team
Search the full 263-Pokémon roster by name, type, ability, or move. Click any Pokémon to add it to your 6-slot team. Open a slot to set the ability, held item, four move slots, and SP training spread. The Analysis tab shows defensive weaknesses, offensive type coverage, and role warnings in real time. Export as PokePaste or copy a 10-character Replica Team Code to share in-game.
SP Training — Stat Points Explained
SP (Stat Points) replace EVs in Pokemon Champions. Each Pokémon has 66 SP total with a cap of 32 per stat, distributed across HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Speed. This tool calculates your final Level 50 stats live as you adjust the sliders. Combine SP with a Stat Alignment (the nature equivalent) to hit specific speed tiers or bulk benchmarks.
Type Coverage & Defensive Weaknesses
The Analysis panel calculates your team's collective defensive weaknesses and offensive coverage across all 18 types. Team warnings flag critical gaps: no speed control (Trick Room / Tailwind), no Fake Out user, too many shared weaknesses, no spread-damage moves, missing Intimidate, and more. Build a balanced core before queuing.
Mega Evolutions in Pokemon Champions
Pokemon Champions features both standard Mega Evolutions and exclusive custom Megas not found in the mainline games — including Mega Meganium, Mega Starmie, Mega Clefable, Mega Feraligatr, Mega Greninja, and many more. Equip the matching Mega Stone to activate the correct form automatically. Dual-Mega Pokémon like Charizard (Charizardite X / Y) are handled with a form selector.
Team Codes & Community Sharing
Browse community Replica Team codes filtered by archetype: Weather, Trick Room, Offense, Balance, Hyper Offense, and Stall. Each code is a 10-character string you can enter in-game under Replica Team to copy a full 6-Pokémon build. Submit your own team with a name, archetype, and optional creator credit. Import/export teams as PokePaste to share on Discord or Reddit.
VGC Doubles Format Guide
Pokemon Champions uses a 6-pick-4 doubles format: register 6 Pokémon, choose 4 per match, and battle 2v2 simultaneously. Turn order, spread moves, and lead selection are critical. Core strategies include Trick Room (slow + bulky attackers), Tailwind (speed control), Intimidate chains, Follow Me / Rage Powder redirection, and weather setters (Drought, Drizzle, Sand Stream, Snow Warning).
Top Pokemon in Champions (2026 Meta)
High-usage picks in Pokemon Champions include Incineroar (Intimidate), Urshifu (priority + bypasses protect), Rillaboom (Grassy Surge Grassy Glide), Landorus-Therian (Intimidate + Ground coverage), Tornadus (Prankster Tailwind), Flutter Mane (Fairy Aura), Amoonguss (Rage Powder + Spore), Farigiraf (Trick Room setter + Psychic Noise), and restricted Legendaries. Build around role synergy first, then optimise stats.
Regulation M-A — Pokemon Champions Ruleset
Regulation M-A is the current competitive format for Pokemon Champions. The rules: bring 6 Pokémon to each match, choose 4, and battle in VGC-style 2v2 doubles. The legal Regulation M-A Pokémon list includes 263 entries covering Kanto through Paldea, plus Pokémon-Champions-exclusive Mega Evolutions. SP training (66 points, 32 max per stat) and Stat Alignments replace the EV/nature system from mainline games. PikaChampions is updated for Regulation M-A.
Pokemon Champions Pokedex
The Pokemon Champions Pokedex spans 263 catchable and obtainable Pokémon, from Venusaur to Sinistcha. Unlike the National Dex, the Champions Pokedex includes custom Mega Evolutions exclusive to the game — Mega Meganium, Mega Greninja, Mega Feraligatr, Mega Starmie, and dozens more — as well as regional variants like Hisuian Typhlosion and Alolan Ninetales. Use the search to filter by type, ability, or move to browse the full Champions roster like a Pokedex.
