• Electromorphosis — whenever Bellibolt is hit by a move, it becomes charged, and its next Electric-type move deals double damage. This is the build-around ability: in doubles it reliably gets hit, so it almost always fires a boosted Discharge or Thunderbolt.
• Static — may paralyze attackers that make contact, a passive deterrent.
• Damp — prevents the use of self-destructing moves like Explosion and Self-Destruct, a situational counter.

Electromorphosis is the standout — the free damage boost on being hit defines Bellibolt's offensive identity.

Bellibolt wants to soak a hit, charge up, and pivot or attack. Its core set is a bulky pivot build:

• Discharge — spread Electric STAB that hits both opponents; with an Electromorphosis charge it does serious damage to the whole side.
• Volt Switch — Electric STAB that pivots Bellibolt out, keeping momentum and preserving its bulk.
• Slack Off — recovers half its HP, making the most of its huge HP pool.
• Protect — a doubles staple for safety and scouting.

Single-target power comes from Thunderbolt or Thunder, while Thunder Wave spreads paralysis, Muddy Water and Weather Ball add coverage, Sucker Punch gives a surprise priority option, and Hyper Voice, Light Screen, Reflect and Substitute offer extra utility.

With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Bellibolt wants to lean into its bulk: invest in HP and Special Defense so it survives multiple hits — each of which charges Electromorphosis — while putting enough into Special Attack to make its boosted Electric moves count. Competitive Role in Regulation M-A

Bellibolt is a bulky Electric pivot that profits from the chaos of doubles. Because something almost always hits it, Electromorphosis is nearly free, so its spread Discharge punishes the whole opposing side while Volt Switch keeps it cycling and Slack Off keeps it healthy. Its low Speed makes it a comfortable Trick Room attacker as well. It pairs well with Ground-immune or Ground-resistant partners to cover its single weakness, and with redirection or terrain support so it can throw out boosted spread damage safely while soaking hits for the team.
