Flareon in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Moveset & How to Get
Flareon is the physical Fire Eeveelution in Pokemon Champions, swinging a hefty 130 Attack and backed by good special bulk. Its standout angle is Guts, which turns a burn or other status into an Attack boost, letting it hit even harder. This guide covers its stats, matchups, best moveset, an SP spread and how to get it.
Base Stats
Flareon's 130 Attack and 110 Special Defense are its strengths; the 65 Speed and 60 Defense are its limits. It is a slow, hard-hitting attacker that benefits from Trick Room or speed control, and from a Flame Orb to activate Guts.
| Form | HP | Atk | Def | SpA | SpD | Spe | BST |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flareon | 65 | 130 | 60 | 95 | 110 | 65 | 525 |
Type Matchups
Abilities
- Guts — boosts Attack by 50% when statused (and ignores a burn's Attack drop). With a Flame Orb, Flareon self-inflicts a burn to power up.
- Flash Fire — absorbs Fire moves for a Fire-damage boost; a useful defensive alternative.
Best Moveset
Physical Guts attacker
- Flare Blitz — powerful Fire STAB (the main attack).
- Superpower — coverage for Rock, Steel and Dark types.
- Scorching Sands or Helping Hand — coverage or support.
- Protect — staple.
It can also run Will-O-Wisp, Hyper Voice and a special set off its 95 Special Attack (Flamethrower / Heat Wave).
Suggested SP Spread
With the SP system, a Guts Flareon wants Attack and bulk, often with a slower Stat Alignment so it can attack first under Trick Room. Tune it in the team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Flareon is a niche physical Fire attacker. With a Flame Orb and Guts it hits very hard, and its strong special bulk lets it take special hits, but its low Speed and shallow physical movepool keep it from the top tier. It is best on Trick Room or speed-controlled teams that let its 130 Attack swing first, where Flare Blitz and Superpower can do real work.
Evolution Line
Eevee → Flareon (using a Fire Stone). Flareon does not Mega Evolve.
