Incineroar in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Best Moveset & How to Get
Incineroar is one of the defining support Pokemon of doubles, and in Pokemon Champions it is no different. Intimidate on switch-in, Fake Out to freeze a target, and a slow U-turn to reposition make it the glue of countless teams. This guide covers Incineroar's stats, type matchups, abilities, the best moveset and SP spread, its role in Regulation M-A, and how to get it.
Base Stats
Incineroar's 95/115/90/80/90/60 line is built for a bulky support attacker. The 95/90/90 defensive backbone is excellent once Intimidate has cut an opposing physical attacker, and 115 Attack means its Fire and Dark STAB still hurt despite a support-first job. The low 60 Speed is by design — it wants to U-turn last and keep momentum.

Type Matchups
Abilities
- Intimidate — lowers the Attack of both opposing Pokemon by one stage on switch-in. This is the headline ability: it softens physical offence the moment Incineroar appears, and it can be re-applied by pivoting in and out.
- Blaze — boosts Fire moves by 50% below one third HP. Almost never used over Intimidate in doubles.
Best Moveset
Incineroar's value is in its support package, not its damage. The standard build is:
Intimidate pivot (support)
- Fake Out — free flinch on turn one; buys tempo for a partner to set up or KO.
- Knock Off — Dark STAB that removes the target's item; one of the best moves in the format.
- Flare Blitz — hard-hitting Fire STAB for when you need a KO (or Will-O-Wisp to burn instead).
- Parting Shot or U-turn — pivot out while leaving the opponent weakened; Parting Shot drops both their stats, U-turn keeps you faster on the switch.
Other useful options include Snarl (spread Special Attack drop), Taunt, Helping Hand, Protect, Earthquake, Close Combat and Throat Chop. Many builds run only one or two attacks and lean entirely on Fake Out, Knock Off, and pivoting utility.
Suggested SP Spread
With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Incineroar almost always invests in bulk — heavy HP plus Special Defense, since Intimidate already handles physical attackers — with a defensive Stat Alignment. A little Attack keeps Knock Off and Flare Blitz relevant. Dial in the exact Level 50 numbers in the PikaChampions team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Incineroar is the format's premier support pivot. Intimidate alone warps games — bringing it in repeatedly neuters physical attackers, and Fake Out gives your team a free turn on demand to set Trick Room, Tailwind, or land a KO. Knock Off strips opposing items, and Parting Shot or U-turn let it leave the field on your terms while preserving momentum.
It is not a win condition; it is the piece that lets your win conditions function. Incineroar fits almost any archetype — Trick Room, Tailwind hyper offence, or bulky balance — and its sheer flexibility is why it remains a staple. The cost is its low Speed and lack of immediate power, so pair it with partners that convert the tempo it buys into damage.
