Lycanroc in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Moveset & How to Get

Lycanroc is a fast, aggressive Rock-type attacker in Pokemon Champions. Base Stats

Lycanroc's 115 Attack and 112 Speed make it a genuine fast physical attacker, but its 75/65/65 bulk is thin — it wants to deal damage quickly rather than trade hits. Under sand, the Sand Rush ability doubles its Speed and turns it into a true sweeper.

Abilities

  • Sand Rush — doubles Speed in a sandstorm, making Lycanroc an excellent sand-team sweeper.
  • Keen Eye — prevents accuracy drops.
  • Steadfast — raises Speed when flinched.

Best Moveset

Fast physical attacker

  • Stone Edge — powerful Rock STAB (or Rock Slide for a spread/flinch option in doubles).
  • Accelerock — priority Rock STAB to revenge-kill faster threats.
  • Close Combat — coverage for Steel, Normal and Dark types.
  • Swords Dance or Protect — set up a sweep, or play safe.

It can also run Crunch, Psychic Fangs, Taunt and Drill Run.

Suggested SP Spread

With the SP system, Lycanroc wants Attack and Speed with an offensive Stat Alignment; on a sand team you can ease off Speed thanks to Sand Rush. Tune it in the team builder.

Competitive Role in Regulation M-A

Lycanroc is a fast, fragile physical attacker. Its niche is speed plus priority: it outruns much of the field, threatens strong Stone Edge and Close Combat hits, and cleans up with priority Accelerock. On sand teams Sand Rush makes it a dedicated sweeper. It dislikes taking hits, so it works best on offense teams that give it free entries or sand support.

Evolution Line

Rockruff → Lycanroc (Level 25 during the day for the Midday form featured here). Lycanroc does not Mega Evolve.
