Sneasler in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Best Moveset & How to Get
Sneasler is a fast, hard-hitting Fighting/Poison attacker in Pokemon Champions built around 130 Attack, 120 Speed and the snowballing Unburden ability. Once its held item is gone, Unburden doubles its Speed and it outruns almost the entire format. This guide covers Sneasler's stats, type matchups, abilities, best moveset, an SP spread, its role in Regulation M-A doubles, and how to get it.
Base Stats
Sneasler pairs a huge 130 Attack with an already-high 120 Speed, but its 80/60/80 defenses are thin — it lives to hit first and hit hard, not to take return fire. The Fighting/Poison STAB combination is offensively excellent, and once Unburden activates the 120 Speed effectively becomes top-of-the-ladder territory.
| Form | HP | Atk | Def | SpA | SpD | Spe | BST |

| Sneasler | 80 | 130 | 60 | 40 | 80 | 120 | 510 |
Type Matchups
Abilities
- Pressure — opposing moves used against Sneasler cost an extra PP. Marginal in doubles.
- Unburden — doubles Speed once Sneasler's held item is consumed or removed. This is the build-around ability: pair it with a consumable (a berry, or a one-shot boost item) and Sneasler becomes one of the fastest threats in the format mid-game.
- Poison Touch — contact moves gain a chance to poison the target. A passive chip bonus on its physical attacks.
Best Moveset
Sneasler is a physical attacker first and foremost. For Regulation M-A doubles:
Unburden sweeper
- Close Combat — its hardest-hitting Fighting STAB; spread-aware power even with the defense drops.
- Gunk Shot — heavy Poison STAB with a poison chance (or Throat Chop for reliable accuracy and sound-move lockdown).
- Swords Dance — sets up a +2 sweep once Unburden has it outspeeding the field.
- Protect — doubles staple to stall for Unburden, scout, and survive a turn.
Disruption / utility
- Fake Out is not in its listed pool, but U-turn gives momentum, Taunt shuts down setup and Trick Room, and Rock Slide offers spread coverage.
- Toxic Spikes can chip switch-ins, and Substitute can trigger Unburden off a Sitrus-style consumable while blocking status.
Other notable tools include Fire Punch, Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Focus Blast, Bulk Up, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind, Vacuum Wave, Fling and Tera Blast.
Suggested SP Spread
With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Sneasler wants Attack and Speed maxed so the Unburden doubling lands on an already-fast base. A Speed- or Attack-boosting Stat Alignment sharpens the sweep, and any leftover points can shore up HP since its defenses are fragile. Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Sneasler is a glass-cannon Unburden sweeper. Early game it threatens immediate damage with Close Combat and Gunk Shot off 130 Attack; once its item pops, the doubled Speed lets it clean up weakened teams almost unchecked. Its job is to apply pressure fast and break frail backlines, so it pairs best with redirection support (a Follow Me user) that lets it set up Swords Dance safely, and with Fake Out partners that buy the turn Unburden needs to come online. Taunt also makes it a strong answer to Trick Room and setup-reliant cores.
Evolution Line
